How can I change my life? I want to better my life. I want to improve my life situation. I want things to be different. I want things to be better.

As a life coach, I hear these words every time I meet a new client.

As an observer in life, I hear people every day saying they want to change their life around. Almost all of these individuals believe change is too difficult for them. Why? Because they think they need to (and they try to) change the things out of their control (e.g. winning the lottery to change their life, getting their romantic partner to change how they treat them, wishing they were more attractive, hoping and waiting for their luck to change).

Life change is possible for everyone, if you know what is within your control and what isn’t. If you are one of the people who constantly asks yourself “how can I change my life” consider my tips below.
Master 1 step at a time. And if you put in your best effort, I promise you’ll no longer be asking “how can I change my life?” You’ll be living out the change.

You’ll be living a brand new life.

Tips To Change My Life: 5 Tips

1. Attitude: Choose to see the good things in life. Choose to be an optimist. A wise man said; When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

2. Effort: It’s surprising how many of my clients think they suck at everything. They fail to realize they’re not putting in the effort so they can truly see how skilled they are.

3. Learn your values and strengths: When you know what’s important to you and what you’re good at, you’ll gain confidence and be happier with yourself. If you think you’re not good at anything, you’re bound to be unhappy with who you are.

4. Set a goal: Pick one thing you want to work towards. Make sure it’s something that’s important to you (not someone else) and that it’s in line with your strengths and values. Once you’re comfortably on your way, set yourself up for attaining another goal.

5. Experiment: Try new things. You don’t need to sign yourself up for 10 activities at once, but try about 5 new things each year. This will help you boost self-confidence and boost self-esteem.

If you’re still asking “how can I change my life” perhaps you would benefit from working with a life coach. Book your free consultation and see what life coaching is all about. Try it and see how it can change your life.

Best Wishes!
